Our Hall

Kilchrenan Village Hall (KVH) is a community venue run by a group of enthusiastic volunteers and located in the heart of Kilchrenan. The hall is used all year round by both the community and visitors. It acts as a centre for many events and activities including sports, talks, social events, weddings, BBQs and much more!

The hall can comfortably hold up to 70 people for a seated dinner and 120 for a dance, but smaller groups are very welcome too! KVH hosts regular classes and group meetings such as art classes, community library and fitness classes.

There is a new kitchen capable of providing catering facilities for events, parties, weddings, lunches and coffee mornings. If you would like to use the kitchen to prepare or cook food, the caterer should have adequate food safety controls in place and all responsibility for food safety rests with the hirer.Contact us to learn more.

Are you staying in the area or visiting family for a holiday? KVH has a safe garden space for children to run around and a selection of toys, table football and table tennis too! 

The outside deck has recently been replaced and we are adding a covered terrace so that when it rains (highly unlikely in Argyll!) people can still enjoy being outdoors. These works should be complete by Summer 2023. 

Hall hire is charged at £20 per hour for visitors and locals receive a discounted rate of £10 per hour. There are further discounted rates for a full day hire. See our Booking page for more details.
