“The Serendipitous Creation of Loch Awe by a Giantess, and other true stories from Argyll”

26 Oct 2024
Pre-show bar from 6pm. Performance 7pm (60min)

We are thrilled to be chosen to be part of the Go Local programme of this year's Scottish International Storytelling Festival, where storytellers and local communities come together to share stories and songs!

Join acclaimed storytelling and musical duo Shona Cowie and Neil Sutcliffe ("Rickle O Stanes") as they create a bridge between the fantastical and the geographical for an evening of Argyll wonder tales in Kilchrenan Village Hall. Fantastical folklore with heart, teeth and a surprising amount of science - there is a reason we tell stories, you know...

The bar at KVH will be open from 6pm for pre-show drinks. After the performance, join us next door in the Kilchrenan Inn for an informal session where your own creative contributions of live music, story-telling and singing are warmly welcomed. Bring along your instruments and voices!

Entry by donation on the door, with a licensed bar (cash or card). Donations towards Kilchrenan Village Hall welcome on the night.
