"The Remembering" Memories Café

Come and join us for a heartwarming afternoon of tea, cake, stories, and shared history at our second Memories Café — part of The Remembering, a celebration of music, myths, memories, tales, and legends from Kilchrenan and Avich.

Whether you've lived here all your life, just moved to the area, or are visiting family, this is a space for everyone to come together, connect, and remember.

What to Bring:

• Old photos, keepsakes or objects with a story

• Memories of people, places, events, and everyday life

• Your voice, or just your ears, to listen and enjoy

• And of course, your granny, grandad, mum or dad, neighbour, or friend!

All generations are welcome- young and old, long-time residents and newcomers. Let’s come together over a cuppa and create a shared space for the living history of our community to be heard and held.

• A chance to share and hear stories from across the decades

• Materials on hand to help you jot down or record memories if you wish
